A group of Aussie ladies from the Cricut Message Board have again created a fantastic calendar for 2011.

Kaisercraft Heart stand

This was another Kaisercraft project that I had completed before the holidays. I thought I would add it here anyway.

I have displayed one Stampin Up! card and the Baby Cards.

This is a great way to displaying your current creations!!

Day 13 & 14

Day 11 & 12 - Kaisercraft Clock

I have so many Kaisercraft wooden projects that I thought it was time to get a few more of them completed.

This clock was easy to put together and I am really happy with the result. There is a frame for three photos. I have opted to put a flower in one, a sentiment in one and left the 3rd for a photo.

I have since painted the stand!!!

Day 9 & 10 - Bird Card & Embossed Flower Card

On Saturday, I went to a Stampin Up! mini catelogue launch at Kerryl's place. (see Kerryl's link).

We made 2 cards. One with the large bird punch (love it and the colours!) and one using the rose embossing folder.

Nice easy cards and a fun day.

Day 7 & 8 - Easle Cards

Day 7 & 8 had me creating some Easle Cards.
These cards are super easy to make and are very effective. I made several of these cards but only have a picture of one of the cards.

Day 5 & 6 - Baby Cards

I am a bit behind in posting!!

Here is what I did on Day 5 & 6. Baby Cards.
I am part of a group of ladies from the Cricut Message Board. We do an Aussie Card Swap every month. Baby cards are for one month and I am now ahead of schedule after doing these baby cards.

I saw something similar to these on the internet but can't remember who made them. Used some cuttlebug embossing folders. for the wording, I just stamping twice using two different colours (the same on the stork)

I have made 4 of each card.

Day 3 & 4 - Kaisercraft Birdhouse and Male cards

Here are my holiday projects for day 3 & 4!!

Day 3 was a Kaisercraft Birdhouse project. I am really happy with how it turned out. I have yet to put a 'saying' in the circle hole in the centre.

Day 4 was Male Birthday Cards for our Aussie Card Swap on the Cricut Message Board.
I really don't like doing male cards - they are so hard. I decided to go with something simple and I love the Diamond Plate embossing folder. It is so good for male cards. And just went with simple black and grey.

Day 1 & 2 - Flower Pot Cards and Layout

I am on holidays for 2 weeks with no plans of going anywhere. I intend to be creative and make at least one craft item every day. Yesterday I made 3 flower pot cards, and today I made 1 flower pot card and a 12x12 scrapbook layout. Here's hoping I can continue...

The flowers pull out of the pot to reveal the inside of the card.

This layout is from a scapbook challenge kit (from my LSS) comprising of 4 sheets of double sided "Prairie Lane Collection" papers from Kaisercraft,some ribbon and some brads. This is all you are allowed to use on the layout.

First Canvas Project

2010 Aussie Calendar

October pages have arrived. Please scroll through all the pages and see what we have done. Please leave a comment if you haven't already done so.

A group of Aussie ladies, who hang out on the Cricut Message Board have formed our own little group and frequent the Aussie Chat thread.

We dediced to do a 2010 calendar swap. We each picked an month and had to create a double 12 x 12 layout - and then make 12 of them! All the ladies then sent their pages to me to sort out so each member got a complete "handmade 2010 calendar".

Below are pictures of the calendars I have received so far..

All of the ladies have done such a wonderful job and it will be a wonderful keepsake of our online friendship.

Survived our trip to Newcastle. Operation planned for late November. Another trip down there and it won't be the last. At least I can stock up on craft stuff!!

We are heading off to Newcastle today until Saturday. DH has a medical appointment. I hope to get to a few craft shops while down there. Will be on the lookout for etching cream!!

My Sweet Rosie

Rosie was our beautiful little dog that we saved from the pound 8 years ago. Earlier this year we discovered she had cancer.

Rosie left this world on August 25 2009 with all of her family around her. RIP Rosie.

This is a 12x12 page I did to remember our Rosie.
